Legirtha
Snyder-Weston
May 3, 1935 — Nov 27, 2024
LeGirtha Snyder-Weston was born May 2, 1935, in Trail Lake, Mississippi to Issac Snyder, Sr. and Ida Snyder. She passed away on November 27, 2024 at her home in Eudora, Arkansas.
LeGirtha received Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Old Holly Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church, where she became a member. Later on, she moved her membership to the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late, Rev. Whitney. LeGirtha became a faithful choir member, who would bless everyone through her "old-time" hymns, followed by moans. When she did this, it wouldn't take long for the church to catch on fire with the Holy Spirit! After a while, LeGirtha was crowned a Mother under the leadership of Rev. Clyde Sanders. She served diligently on the Mother's Board until her departure on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
LeGirtha leaves an honorable legacy of compassion for others, strength through Christ, love for all of her children and grandchildren, and spiritual encouragement through her favorite songs: "Lord, Lord You've Been So Good to Me", "Thank you, Lord", "Father, I Stretch My Hand to Thee", and "I'm Willing to Run on All the Way With You Lord", and many more.
LeGirtha was proceeded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Weston, Sr.; father, Isaac Synder, Sr.; mother, Ida Snyder; siblings: Rev. Issac Snyder, Jr., Hilda Vail, Ruby Weston, Theautry Snyder, Sr., Cornelius Snyder, and Booker T. Wallace; children: Doris Weston, Leon Weston, Sr., Dwight Snyder, Sr., and Roosevelt Weston, Jr.
