Curtis Lee Walton was born in Eudora, Arkansas on September 28, 1956 to Clifton Walton, Sr. and Vita B. Walton.  He passed away in Dallas, Texas on December 8, 2024.

Curtis received his formal education in the Eudora public school system. He graduated from Eudora High School in 1975.

Curtis accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age. He was of the Baptist faith.

With skillful hands, a sharp mind, a heart of love, and the task of making everyone laugh, Curt discovered a passion for repairing vehicles. He went on to spend many years working as a mechanic. Curt gave up his title as a beloved mechanic to be in the arms of the Lord.

Beyond his love for what's underneath the hood of a vehicle, Curt was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Curt was preceded in death by his father, one sister Gloria White and two brothers Clifton Walton, Jr. and Aaron Walton.

Curt is survived by those who will cherish countless, sweet, gentle, and funny memories of him: his mother Vita B. Walton; five sisters: Erma Jean Walton, Edna Walton, Alma Walton, Clara Walton, and Laura Walton; two brothers: Melvin Walton and Eddie Walton, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Jericho M. B. Church in Eudora, AR with Reverend Albert L. Jones, Sr. officiating. The interment was at the Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Antonio Walton, Joseph Earl Walton II, Kentrel Walton, Dantrell White, Donyel Walton, Bershard Walton, and Eddie Walton, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Melvin Walton, Eddie Walton, Sr., Thomas White, Sammy Walton, Albert Earl Walton, and James Earl Walton.
