Cameron Deon Palmer, 22, was born July 3, 2002 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village, Arkansas. He departed this life on September 26, 2024 in Conway, Arkansas.
Cameron was a native of Eudora, Arkansas and a graduate of Lakeside High School in Lake Village, Arkansas with the Class of 2020. He loved the sport of basketball and had excelled as a member of his high school basketball team.
Cameron was baptized at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Macklen Bunn.
Cameron was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents; Earl Kitchen, Mary Francis Whitaker, John Palmer and Mary Francis Williams; his paternal grandparents Mary Ann Johnson and Jeff Scott; and one uncle Roy Kitchen, Jr.
The memories of Cameron will live on through his parents, Latoya (Erskine) Palmer-Flamer and Caleb Johnson; maternal grandparents, Roy Kitchen, Sr. and Brenda Palmer; siblings: Robert Curtis, Jr. and Christopher Adams, all of Eudora AR; aunts: Dasha Flanagan, and Zina (John) Washington-Gant of Eudora, AR, and Antionette Palmer of Killeen, TX; uncles: Kevin Johnson, Leroy Johnson, Bobby Palmer, Charles (Jennie) Scott, Edward Scott and Roy Scott; a special family member Kylee Fletcher, and a host of cousins and friends.
Cameron will always be cherished by his "god family" that loved him as their own. His spirit will live on through his godmother, Janeva White of Arlington, TX; grandparents Roosevelt Tippitt of Eudora, AR and Emma Woods of Montrose, AR; aunt Regna Martin and brother-cousin Javarus Curtis of Portland, AR.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:0 0 PM at Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Eudora, AR with Reverend Macklen Bunn officiating. Burial was in Holly Grove #2 Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Delonte Armour, Malakai Armour, Lazavion Gentry, Rhoderick Gentry, Avery Terry III, and Jake Webb. Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Adams, Sr., Lotrenzo Brown, Robert Curtis, Sr., Roshaud Griffin, Paul McGahee, Jr., and Armontee Palmer
